This website is a static information page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from third parties, and does not profile visitors. What little it processes is described here.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on servers located in Germany. When you open a page, the web server automatically processes the following data to deliver the page and to keep the service secure:

• IP address, shortened before it is written to the log (the last octet of IPv4 addresses and the last 96 bits of IPv6 addresses are removed)
• date and time of the request
• requested page or file and the HTTP status code
• browser type and version, operating system (user agent)
• the referring page, if your browser transmits one

Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. Log entries are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless an entry must be kept longer to investigate a security incident.

3. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising services. Fonts, scripts, styles and images are served from this domain only. No content is embedded from other providers, so no data is transmitted to third parties when you open a page. For that reason no consent banner is shown.

4. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us, we process the data you provide (name, email address, telephone number, company and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to answer them and for any follow-up, after which they are deleted, subject to statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law.

5. Links to other websites

This website links to external websites such as patent.dev, Docker Hub, Microsoft Learn and the websites of patent offices. When you follow a link, the operator of the destination website is responsible for the processing of your data there, and that operator's privacy policy applies. The hosted Patent Connector service at patent.dev has its own privacy policy, which you can read at patent.dev/privacy-policy.

6. Recipients and transfers

Data processed by this website is not sold and not passed on for other purposes. Our hosting provider processes server data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15), to have it rectified (Article 16) or erased (Article 17), to restrict its processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, email info@patent.dev.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
